For Delta 21, Dijkstaal build the steel structure on the 8th floor of a former office building on Deltaweg in Vlaardingen. The location and limited space made it a technically challenging project.
During the preparation phase, the maximum dimensions for transport and lifting work were taken into account. The heaviest components weighed 900 kg and were brought to the worksite through the roof window. The assembly took place at height, using material lifts and rolling scaffolds. On the roof there were antennas, which required additional safety measures.
Dijkstaal delivered and assembled the complete steel structure. We took care of the engineering, production, transport, and assembly.
Thanks to good coordination and a well executed schedule, the project was completed safely and smoothly.
